STORY SO FAR

The Inside Out project is the UK's first clothing brand created, designed and hand produced by young ex-offenders.

Inside Out's main mission is to generate realistic job prospects for young people leaving the justice system by creating opportunities in business through fashion and design.

All the clothing on our site has been created and designed by the young participants on the project. Everyone involved is a brand ambassador with their own stories of hope and just wanting a second chance. All proceeds from sales go back into the charity which will enable us to continue the Inside Out project each year.

During the Inside Out project the participants on the course get top business, fashion, employment and personal development skills. The first Inside Out project launched in March 2022 in partnership with LinkedIn.

The project featured on a number of high profile media outlets such as BBC News, ITV News, SkyNews and Channel 5 News in addition to receiving coverage in The Independent, Metro UK, InsideTime and MyLondon to name a few.

Over the next five years the projects aim is to help 1,000s of young people who have struggled since being released from prison and who deserve to be helped reintegrate back into society. We all make mistakes, some bigger than others.

The next project will start in early 2024 and will be run by Founder and CEO Greg McKenzie and will also include several participants who took part in the first project, to become project managers to inspire our new intake of young people.

If you have a young person you would like to recommend please drop us a line.
